If you’ve ever taken a break from creating collages of Selena Gomez’s feet long enough to Google “I hate Miley Cyrus,” you’d have noticed about 74,100 hits, effectively making Miley about as hated as Adolf Hilter on the internet. His Mustacheness has about 8,060 hate sites dedicated to his life and Kamfs. Almost there, Miley!
But what about some of our very favorite (?) Latinoids? How do they fare on these here interwebs?
Latinos with the dubious honor of being among the most hated on the internet include Shakira, Luis Miguel, Jennifer Lopez (No!) and Ricky Martin.
But why are these stars, all of whom have massive international fanbases, so hated? We tend to think it all has to do jealousy over their success, beauty and impeccably maintained facial hair (Hitler, J-Lo…). This hatred might also be a case of the public feeling over-saturated by mainstream stars with a lot to sell, but, often, very little to say. In any case, stars would do well to sit comfortably on their piles and piles of money and fan mail and let the haters hate.
