Guanabee To Go: Fresa Salvaje Presents "Enanitos Toreros"

Like bullfights? And little people? Of course. Photographer Livia Corona explores, through a series of photographs and interviews, the world in which the two are combined in her book Enanitos Toreros:

Over the course of almost a decade, Corona traveled and lived with them, documenting their families, shows, spectators, and everyday life of this community of itinerant artists. The resulting images and interviews transcend scale and spectacle and touch on the complex role that dwarf bullfighting has come to play in the slowly evolving identity and perception of little people in Mexico.

Explore the social struggles and daily lives of this oft-ignored group and, um, become inebriated at the book’s launch party this Friday in Brooklyn. Details after the jump:
