Guillermo Del Toro was on Jimmy Kimmel last week on the occasion of the premier of Hellboy II in Los Angeles. First of all, we love his accent. He really is a Mexican! Secondly, he shared with Jimmy that the last time he was in LA for the Oscars his entire family invaded the Roosevelt hotel across the street from the awards show. (He took four of them to the actual show.) Mexicans, hotel, pride. Well, you can imagine the rest. Also, cool: a clip of bone eating tooth fairies from the movie.

his english is waaaay better now. i interviewed him when he was doing press for _Chronos_ back in 93 and his accent was really thick. when he realized that i could speak spanish, he asked if we could do so in spanish. he was nothing but passionate and super cool.
