Miley Cyrus’ new album “Breakout” has been out for a couple of days now, so we took a look at the iTunes customer reviews to see what America thinks. We’re afraid it’s not pretty. With a voting system that keeps “helpful” reviews at the top of the page, eight of the first ten are scathing. In fact, we may be looking at early signs of a Miley Cyrus backlash. From iTunes:

No offense to Miley, but her voice has no range, and half the time she is just screaming. she totally ruins the classic “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun” [Ed: Yes, she did.] if Miley wants to be taken seriously as an artist, then she needs to do more than try to “grow up” with us. She needs to learn from her mistakes and I know break-ups are hard but that doesn’t mean that she should take out her anger on Nick publicly, and I feel sorry Nick had to go through something like that, after all he wrote the song “I’m Sorry” for her, and she comes back at him with “7 Things”. Comment if you’re with me on Nick’s side!

i’m sorry but i just don’t like it. i listened to 2 songs and i will not listen to the rest. miley reallyyyy gest on my nerves…why does she like to scream during her songs?She is trying so hard to make it sound like rock n roll but it is not, it just makes an irritating pop song.
