John Leguizamo Calls Al Pacino And Robert De Niro Old. We Wait For Him To Die.

John Leguizamo, the pride of Jackson Heights, has backhandedly complimented two of Hollywood’s greatest screen legends in the latest issue of Latina magazine. On the question of what it was like to work with Al Pacino and Robert De Niro in the upcoming movie, Righteous Kill, Leguizamo is quoted as saying he’d love to be where they are in 30 years. (Even though they’re only about 20 years older than him.) “Hell yeah! Getting $15 million for a movie at 70? it better be me.” Which is fine. One can round up. But he continues with the aged theme in the next answer:
Latina: Did you ever ask either of them for any acting advice?
John Leguizamo: No, you want to act like you’re the man, too. I’ve got some chops myself [laughs.] But I was mad respectful. I would fetch them whatever they needed, like coffee–I’m Latin, so I respect my elders.
Just so long as they remember they’ve got one foot in the grave. Heh.
Latina: What did they learn from you?
John Leguizamo: That I’m not afraid of speaking my mind and never will be.
Here’s hoping!

Seems to me that here’s another that forgets how he made it so far…..these comments come easy, but if Mr. Leguizamo hadn’t been in Carlito’s Way I wonder if he’d even be in Righteous Kill either.
just a thought
Big deal!! Did you think DeNiro or Pacino weren’t getting up there? Get real; he only wants what they have and that isn’t so bad in my book>>>and , he will get 70 someday as well.
hey man its hard as hell to survive in show business.the fact his name is in the same sentence w dinero and puccini is a testament to his skill as an actor and also a business man.
