Guanabee Editor Cindy Casares had the opportunity to interview Camilo Lara of the Mexican Institute of Sound on Friday at New York’s Latin Alternative Music Conference. In addition to being the nicest rock star she’s ever met, (We totally want to put him in our pockets and take him home with us.), he was also very generous with his time and regaled us with fascinating stories from his never resting brain. In this video, Camilo tells us how he got his first record released by pulling a remix of sorts. Stay tuned for more video candy from the charming Mr. Lara including updates on his new album and a novel (!) in the works.
