A Long Island couple has filed suit against the town of Hampton Bays, claiming police raided their diner in an attempt to dissuade them from holding their weekly “Hispanic Nights.” Sad! Mean! But, then the police were like, um, sure. But mostly ‘cause you were diner was like totally a den of vice and sin:
The suit says undercover police made three cocaine buys in the diner’s bathroom during “Hispanic Nights.” But the owners’ lawyer, Andrew Campanelli, says there had been no reason to suspect drug sales at the eatery.
In response, the diner owners were like, “Oh. Well. Uh… Other diners sell Coke! Yet you’re only targeting us? That shit’s racist!” Also? Best. Hispanic Night. Ever.
