Lots of good things come out of attending the Latino Alternative Music Conference: A lanyard with one’s name on it, skinny boys in tight pants, and a gift bag (FREE SHIT OMG!) that includes a puhretty nice compilation album. While we felt “eh” towards most of the songs included therein, one stood out to us above the rest. And we’d like to share that song with you. So here’s Spanish singer Concha Buika’s jazzy, flamenco-tinged “Mi Niña Lola.” We don’t mind telling you it’s the first song that’s made us cry in a long time.
