Peruvian Singer Lacey Zamudio aka Leysi Suarez Arrested For Riding Naked On Horse (And Peruvian Flag–Whoops!)

Peruvian cumbia singer Leysi Suarez is in shitloads of trouble for taking some photographs that feature her sitting naked on a horse and using the Peruvian flag as a saddle. The pictures appeared in the premiere issue of local magazine D´Farándula (”Showbiz”) just a few days after Peruvian Independence Day. Minister of Defense Antero Flores-Araoz has filed a criminal complaint against her for “insulting the symbols and values of the Fatherland.” (Meanwhile this is still hunky dory with Peruvians.) While various lawyers say she’s broken no laws, the foreign press is reporting that she could face up to four years in prison. Suarez got naked once before in a movie called, Mañana Te Cuento 2. Haha, I feel sorrier for the model. Riding bareback with just a flag? I’ve gone in pants, and after fifteen minutes (depending on the horse, i.e. the boniness of the horse’s spine), it hurts like a bitch.
She should plead that barebacking with no “insulation” would have irreparably damaged sensitive areas, so it was really self-defense. x3
