Photographer Dulce Pinzon Presents Latin Immigrants As Super Heroes

Check out these cool photos by Dulce Pinzon, co-proprietor of Fresa Salvaje, portraying Latino immigrants in New York City as super heroes. From her website:
The principal objective of this series is to pay homage to these brave and determined men and women that somehow manage, without the help of any supernatural power, to withstand extreme conditions of labor in order to help their families and communities survive and prosper.
The photos feature mostly Mexican immigrants dressed as super heroes while engaging in work at their real jobs. Like Maria Luisa Romero from the Mexican state of Puebla who works in a Laundromat in Brooklyn and sends $150 dollars a week back home. After the jump the rest of our faves. Oh and Cindy says if anyone wants to buy her a birthday present this summer that Wonder Woman print would make her year.
Bernabe Mendez from the Mexican state of Guerrero works as a professional window cleaner in New York. He sends home $500 a month.
Minerva Valencia from the Mexican state of Puebla works as a nanny in New York. She sends home $400 a week.
Oscar Gonzalez from the Mexican state of Oaxaca works as a cook in New York. He sends home $350 a week.
Luis Hernandez from the Mexican state of Veracruz works in demolition in New York. He sends home $200 a week.
Noe Reyes from the Mexican state of Puebla works as a delivery boy in Brooklyn, New York. He sends home $500 a week.
Paulino Cardozo from the Mexican state of Guerrero works in a greengrocer loading trucks. He sends home $300 a week.
Adalberto Lara from the state of Mexico works as a construction worker in New York. He sends home $350 a week.
