Sigh: Miss Puerto Rico Claims Her Chance At Winning Miss Universe Was Ruined By Plotting Dominicans
15 July 2008, 4:30 PM. By Daniel Mauser
Ingrid Rivera, that peppery Puerto Rican princess, is kind of a whiner, yeah? She’s in the news again, this time claiming her chance at winning Miss Universe was ruined because pageant promoter Magali Febles did not pay the $100,000 each contestant must pay. However, while Ingrid did not manage to make it to the Top 15, Miss Dominican Republic Marianne Cruz, who is also represented by Febles, managed to make it to third place.
Some might look at this little tidbit of information and think “Ah! It must not be Febles’ fault, then. Perhaps Ingrid just happens to suck royally?”
But, according to Ingrid, you’d be wrong. She’s crying conspiracy (again…)…
River is claiming Febles paid Miss DR’s fee and not hers because Febles is Dominicans and wanted her homegirl to win.
Ingrid Rivera then farted a little and blamed it on a government conspiracy to make Funyuns more gaseous.

Ok, so, look, I don’t like this whiny princess either, and I’m a Puerto Rican who blindly roots for the Miss Puerto Rico contestant every year…even last year’s, who was fug. But. How can the same person own 2 Miss Universe franchises and not expect there to be a conflict of interest? Magali Febles runs Miss PR Universe and Miss DR Universe. Nena, hello….pick one and propel her to Miss Universe stardom. Make sure she doesn’t catch the Miss USA curse and fall all over the stage. But pick *one*.
