Val Emmich Has Replaced Christopher Gorham As Betty’s New Love in “Ugly Betty”; Mario Lopez To Replace Freddie Rodriguez?

Actor Val Emmich, also known as Jesse in “Ugly Betty”, will be Betty’s (America Ferrera) new love on the hit television series, now on its third season. Christopher Gorham, who plays the dorky yet hot accountant Henry, is leaving the show to co-star on CBS’ midseason drama “Harper’s Island.” The photo on the left shows a slight resemblance among the actors, at least the creators of the show kept it consistent. Reality cry baby Spencer Pratt, whom we hear was never in a million years considered, would have been a disaster.
To wet your memory a little bit, on the last season of “Ugly Betty,” the rivalry between Henry and Gio, (Freddy Rodriguez), heart finalized in the Season 2 finale. Now we will have to wait to see what other ghetto-playin’ Latino will appear fighting for Betty’s amour. Mario Lopez in a due rag? Anyone?

i’m confused. is freddie leaving the show too? will this guy take the same role as christopher or a new character altogether? please give the specifics!
@bettyfan. I am a fan too. I heard that Val Emmich, which played Jesse in a couple of episodes will be coming in on a recurring basis and will be Betty’s new love interest since the guy who plays Henry, Christopher Gorham is leaving. Freddy, Gio, will leave the show.
I love Betty and Freddy Rodriguez, but if Mario Lopez is brought on I may have to stop watching…. Let’s find a new fresh faced hot Latino…
