Video: JonBenet Ramsey’s Parents Finally Cleared Of Charges In Their Daughter’s Murder

The big news story last night, along with Jesse Jackson saying he wants to cut Barack Obama’s nuts off, was that of new DNA evidence that clears JonBenet Ramsey’s parents John and Patsy and her brother Burke (who was nine when JonBenet was killed) of murder charges. First of all, what a horrific ordeal these people have been through. JonBenet’s mother Patsy died of cancer in 2006 at the age of 49. Which means Burke has lost his sister and his mother and his entire life has been clouded by this nightmare. And all they get is a letter from Boulder County District Attorney Mary Lacy that has the gall to say:

To the extent that we may have contributed in any way to the public perception that you might have been involved in this crime, I am deeply sorry.

There was no maybe about it. When the previous DA, Alex Hunter, repeatedly declared to the press that the entire family was under “a cloud of suspicion” he pretty much sealed their fate. In fact some Boulder residents interviewed by the Associated Press still don’t believe the family is innocent. Video proof is below.

And, most confounding is still the mystery of who the fuck killed her. According to the report, the DNA does not match anyone’s who lived in the house or anyone in the crime database. So someone, without a prior record, just walked into that house and brutally murdered a little girl without anyone seeing and walked off scott free.
