Why The Last Three Miss Universes Had Plastic Surgery

venezuela.jpg

We did some investigative websurfing this morning and made an interesting little discovery. The last three Miss Universe winners have all had plastic surgery. Meanwhile, a page on the Miss Universe website entitled “Perception Vs. Reality” says:

Reality: The majority of our contestants have not surgically altered themselves. In fact, at the international level many countries, including Sweden, France and Israel, have banned plastic surgery from their events completely. We do not encourage or endorse any kind of unnecessary surgery. As a matter of fact, there are no height, weight or measurement restrictions for any of our competitions. However, we must also respect our contestants’ individual rights to choose for themselves what makes them feel most confident and comfortable.

So while they don’t officially endorse it, they manage to reward it every year with the crown. Seems like someone is floating down a little stream we like to call denial. After the jump, a side by side comparison of the three offenders. Miss Universes 2008, 2007 and 2006.

Miss Universe 2008 Dayanara Mendoza of Venezuela
Obviously had a nose job which is sad because her natural nose is so much cuter.

Miss Universe 2007 Riyo Mori of Japan
Admits to having “a little lip work” done and is accused of having eyelid surgery to round out her eyes.

Miss Universe 2006 Zuleyka Rivera of Puerto Rico
Looks like Michael Jackson we are sad to say.

Wow. I am going to try this and apply to Miss Universe next year. Basically, anyone can be Miss Universe.

Its a common problem in our society: girls all over the country feel bad about their appearances because they see these perfect Amazons in Miss Universe and then feel bad about themselves. Tha’ts probably why these girls ended up modifying their faces.

It’s a pageant and I can see why some countries would outlaw plastic surgery, but if it’s not against the rules you can’t fault the women for trying to get an advantage. The unfortunate part is that they don’t look better as a result of facial surgery.

I just have to say though that Mexico was robbed, she was the hottest, her diamond encrusted boobs were very nice and she had a respectable answer.

The order should have been - Mexico, Columbia, DR, Venezuela then someone besides the vacant Russia…maybe Australia.

OMG and LOL … you guys are just as bad as White people. Not all Asians look identical. The second woman is NOT Riyo Mori. It’s Honey Lee of South Korea. They don’t even look remotely similar.

@Citlali: the second one is Riyo Mori. We checked her wiki page.

That before picture is NOT EITHER Riyo OR Honey. It’s some random Asian girl.

The second picture though is Honey.

Both pictures checked and double checked as being Riyo Mori.

we are all expecting an apology for such incompetence

Where are you getting these before pics? They look nothing like the after pics and Dayana’s eye color is different in the before pic, probably because that’s not her! Get a life!
