Well, I use chingos de eau de toilet because I can afford expensive shit. On the other hand, my man-ho’s tell me their clients don’t like it when they wear too much cologne because their wives take note and beat the crap outta them. In conclusion: If you can afford it wear the hell out of it, tell the world u have monies. If you are a man-ho, abstain, but at least wash ur cooch. I’m high right now.

Anyway, it’s not true that all (or most) latino men wear too much cologne. Would you say that “all” or “most” _____ people do ________. Of course not, because it would be inaccurate, reductive, and an exercise in rampant generalization that is probably based on harmful stereotypes. Sometimes i find Guanabee’s particular brand of self-hatred a bit endearing, but it’s getting old.

I have to admit the “Pepe le Pew” syndrome is cross-cultural. I have a friend of European descent that LOVES to wear way to much cologne. He has a fear of body odor and keeps at least one bottle of cologne in his car at all times in case he needs to refresh his scent. He starts his day with at least 4 squirts that go head to toe like a cologne waterfall. Horrible!

I prefer the minimalist approach. One spray is all you need.

If someone can tell you are coming before you have entered a room or said anything then there is a problem. If your scent sticks around after you leave… there’s a problem. If you can smell yourself… there’s a problem.
You get the idea.
