Ever wonder why some singers’ vocals sound like a robot hiccuping? It’s because that’s basically all they are. Take this video of Britney Spears during a concert as proof. The feed from her live mic has isolated her vocals from all the other magical ninja robot trickery used to make her sounds vaguely listenable so all that’s left is… Well. It makes our shower singing sound like Maria Callas. Maybe J-Lo can start using whatever NASA-engineered program Britney uses? Just kidding! She’d still suck.

Are you sure that’s on the level? The credit at the end about “original audio” has me sospechoso.

Not to sound like I’m defending this hot mess, but this is rather common. I doubt most of us could sing much better if we were dancing around the stage at the same time.

as a wise woman i know named kyra once said about the former JLO: she’s not a singer; she’s a recording artist
