Carol Castro Posed In Playboy With Her Crucifix Showing

It turns out Brazil, the country where nakedness is a national pastime, is so conservatively Catholic that a court is ordering the publishers of Playboy to halt further distribution of that country’s August issue after some -trollop- actress named Carol Castro posed topless in it holding a crucifix. Which means Jesus is topless in the photo, too. [Ed. Express to hell, all aboard!] The archdiocese of Sao Paulo described the image, which was shot for the 33rd anniversary issue, as having “a lack of respect for Catholics.” Castro, who considers herself a Catholic, defends the photograph saying she meant no harm to anyone. The shoot is meant as a tribute to the novel Dona Flor e Seus Dois Maridos (Doña Flor and Her Two Husbands) by Jorge Amado which is about a Brazilian woman who cheats on her second husband by sleeping with the ghost of her deceased first husband. Which is somehow supposed to be less offensive to priests. Okay, enough talking, Carol Castro crucifix Playboy pics after the jump.
