An online survey of 3,000 gay men voted soccer player Cristiano Ronaldo the ultimate gay icon. Somewhere, David Beckham is crying into a pile of money:
A spokeswoman for www.gaygolddiggers.uk.com said: “Ronaldo’s ripped body, slicked-back hair, shiny white teeth and jewellery swung the votes his way.
“He looks like any gay man or woman’s dream.
Needle scratch. “Gay Gold Diggers?” Look here, you gold-digging internet gays! We know plenty of gay men whose dream looks about seventy-five pounds and one giant beard’s worth of difference from Cristiano and several women who’d like Cristiano a little more if he had a pair of luscious, voluptuous, sexy ovaries. This list is awful at best, and pathetic at worst. Judy Garland? The Village People? What decade is this? So, Cher and Bette Midler were unavailable? Are you kidding? Who are these culturally inept Gay Gold Diggers?
