Happy Quinces, Macarena: 15 Years Later, Stupid Song Is Still Stupid

Can you believe this shit came out 15 years ago? God damn. Los del Rio, the duo behind “La Macarena,” are celebrating its quinces by making sure your dad dances to it at family functions well into the next decade. They are relaunching the song - yet again - with a new album this October. Among the various and unnecessary remixes will be one with an “Urban Rhythm” because cadets need something to swing their identical gold chains to. The new versions will debut in Disney theme parks on both U.S. coasts because waiting in lines for hours studying some Midwestern family’s grotesque collection of varicose veins is not entertainment enough.
