LAMAs In Pajamas: LAMA, Latin America In The Modern Age

If you’re interested in decorating your home with a nod to Latin American arts and culture, but don’t want to go the route of your typical “paintings of women with braids doing things”, consider paying a visit to LAMA: Latin America in the Modern Age.

The pieces are all picked by an interior designer (and her doggy) out in L.A. and run the gamut from more “typical” Latin American designs featuring motifs like lucha libre wrestlers and Dia de Los Muertos skeletons, to more contemporary designs like twee little sparrows kissing a deer on a tote bag.

The site features home decor, stationery and paper goods and other fun little trinkets and accessories by Latin American artists. There were really too many things we really liked to show off, so we limited ourselves to five doodads we thought were kind of cool. Check them out:

Ok, so $65.00 dollars for a cloth bag is decidedly ungodly. But it is kinda cute.
