Hey remember Inés Gómez Mont the zany, Mexican, TV “journalist” who proposed to Tom Brady during a Super Bowl press conference? Well, she’s covering the Olympics in Beijing now and has cooked up an even more endearing bit than last time. Thank God, right? In the wake of all those embarrassing, Spanish Olympian, cultural faux pas. Inés and her network TV Azteca rounded up a bunch of locals and had them attempt to pronounce Spanish words with rolling r’s in them. Don’t worry. It’s not mean. It’s just Latin culture. And lucky for you, we’ve got full latin culture video after the jump!
Our favorite part is when she calls the first guy in the baseball cap “egghead,” in Spanish without him knowing. Oh and then there’s the part when she calls two other guys, handsome, but then retracts the statement. All in Spanish which they don’t understand. Um. We’ll just be over here telling people we’re Greek.
