We thought Roman Abramovich had bought this house? We can’t keep up with rich people shit. Anyway. Contrary to reports that Russian gazillionaire Mikhail Prokhorov purchased Villa Leopolda in France — the most expensive home in the whole, wide world — he has, in fact, not. Why? Well, it would appear that he has some boeuf with France. Honh honh [Ed. note: That’s our French Laugh ®, by the way.]:
Prokhorov quit Norilsk, the world’s biggest palladium and nickel producer and also a leading platinum and copper producer, after he and 25 other people were taken in for questioning at his hotel in the French ski resort of Courchevel over a suspected prostitution ring last year.
Honh honh! Prokhorov is decidedly unhappy with the allegations that the Prokked some Horovs:
“As far as France is concerned, we cannot talk business (including real estate) for as long as outstanding issues have not been settled with local legal officials and Mikhail has not received the necessary apologies,” said Petrov.
“This is a question of principle.”
Yes. That’s exactly what it is. Honh!
