For the 30th anniversary of the hit, 80’s, nighttime soap opera Dallas (Jesus God, we’re old), the cast is throwing a big party in–where else?–Dallas. And fans can pay to be there! Ok, the paying part sucks, but we mean, you don’t expect J.R. and Sue Ellen to consort with common rif raff. You must, at least, be middle class:

The reunion at the ranch in suburban Parker, north of Dallas, is open to the public. Tickets go on sale Aug. 22 and will cost between $100 and $1,000. The event will include fireworks, a country music concert, a question-and-answer session with the cast and tours of the mansion.

Larry Hagman, Patrick Duffy and whoever played Sue Ellen have already confirmed. As Larry, 76, put it, “I may not be able to do the 40th. Thirty years is pretty good, and the show is still very popular.”

Aw, Larry say it ain’t so. J.R. lives forever. Or at least until we shoot him.
