<description>I'm 28 and the older I get the younger and dumber I realize I am... Maturity doesn't come with age and I sure as hell am not giving in to old age.

<description>My abuelita always used to say that when you stop laughing you begin aging. Which kind of explains what is wrong with Chelsea Handler.

<description>I turned 25 earlier this year. I don't think I believe in reaching an "old" age. Still, I do have a "get your act together" age but this, I think is about taking full responsibility over your self.

Personally, I have scheduled MY adulthood to begin at 35.
By no means an age I consider old, but definitely an age by which I want to have substantial career highlights behind me and to have traveled far more extensively than I already have.

Traveling has been one of the things that I can't imagine not having been part of my life and because I have found it to be so eye opening/ transforming, I can't imagine reaching 35 without having been to at least twice as many places as I have been to.

As for other obvious and not so obvious mile stones...there all up in the in air for me.

<description>Confession time: I've maybe lamented to older people my wasted youth...I'm serious, but I also know I'm baiting the lion, but that's just the teeny mischievous, antagonistic part of me. I'm 26. Hahahahah....

Anyway, I thought I became a woman once I hit 18 when the 2nd geners burned their bras and such? It certainly wasn't when I did my confirmation...I wasn't even allowed to go out with my friends alone after that.

<description>Katherine Hepburn in "Summertime" said it best when she said, "In America every woman under 50 is a girl." Trust me when they start calling you "that woman" you'll suddenly wonder if you look old.

<description>I dont think I matured till I was 35... I started worrying about retirement, and things like that.

Hell, I didnt develop a work ethic until I was 40.

Yes, I'm a man
