Auf With Her Head: Jennifer Lopez Cancelled On Being “Project Runway” Judge

Jennifer Lopez was a last minute drop-out as guest judge for the final runway show of “Project Runway,” citing a foot injury. Her maid’s foot when Marc Anthony chomped it with fiendish glee, perhaps:

[A]t this morning’s taping at New York’s Bryant Park, host Heidi Klum announced that J. Lo has canceled at the last minute due to a foot injury. Faced with filling the spot in a day’s time, the show has turned to co-host Tim Gunn to fill the vacated judge’s chair. Amazingly, it’ll be the first time in five seasons that the workroom mentor has a place on the judging panel. “It was a thrill and an honor,” Gunn said of his appointment, adding that he promises to be unbiased.

Heidi had previously kept mum on who the celebrity guest judge would be this season, probably because she knew she was dealing with an unprofessional drama queen whose husband is a gleefully fiendish foot-biter:

“Is she coming on? I don’t know about that,” Klum told Us at a fete for Nina Garcia this week. “Every season we have more and more celebrities coming on the show as judges. But I can’t really tell you who - it ruins the surprise!”

If they ever got desperate Klum says her husband Seal would be open to judging.
