There’s a new drug in town called Snurf. Snurf, people. Before we get into the name, Snurf is said (on the internet, which is full of lies and drugs, apparently) to be pure DMX which stands for dextromethorphan, which is found in over-the-counter cold remedies and when taken in large doses, can give you hallucinations and a feeling of euphoria. But! Like most things that are awesome, too much of it can also make you barf your brains out. Four high school kids in Pennsylvania ended up in the hospital yesterday after ingesting snurf pills they bought online that made them sick.
According to news reports, the four teenage boys who attend Council Rock High School in the Philadelphia area will be fine, but now adults are in an uproar over this drug that is totally legal and available to kids online. Know what else the internet can do? Make some kids throwing up in the bathroom a worldwide news event. Thanks to concerned adults like Council Rock School District Superintendent Mark J. Klein who says,”We did the Google and found out more than we needed to know about it,” this story is shooting up Google Trends like a mofo. Talk about an embarrassing reason to just say no, kids. And, Superintendent Klein, be careful doing the Google. You might throw out your back.
A drug listed on Web as Snurf should have been labeled Barf [philly.com]

Kids today I swear! Any damn thing they can get their filthy good for nothing hands on they either want to smoke, drink or ingest it and get high.
sigh Makes me reminisce about the good old days when all we had was some pot, coke or LSD.
Memories, misty water colored memories….
