Just What We Thought (Not Wished): Sarah Palin Bikini Picture Holding A Rifle Is A Fake

Turns out that the embarrassingly fun picture of Vice President hopeful Sarah Palin wearing an American flag bikini and holding a rifle at a teen pool party is a fake. The name of the girl in the actual picture is Elizabeth and the original image appears in the Flickr photostream of one “Doctor Casino.” According to his Flickr page:
I took this photograph somewhere to the east of Athens, GA, in late Spring/early Summer of 2004.
Also, according to Doctor Casino, the earliest appearance of the picture is at an Imageshacks.us website. Both pictures side by side after the jump.

Awesome! Now, some would argue that the doctored picture above passes as political humor and is meant to be harmless, since the picture is so obviously fake, others disagree, and say that these stunts hurt the political process. Whatever it may be there’s no question this is an awesome Photoshop job.

I agree that these stunts hurt the political process, but as the saying goes “All’s fair in love and war”…after all,. the New Yorker had Michele & Barrack on their cover depicted in a not too good light…why would Sarah Paulin or John McCain be given a pass?
Yvonne, do yourself and the rest of THE WORLD a big favor, go to a bookstore and buy a medium sized, black and yellow book called Grammar for Dummies. It is a very good source for learning how to WRITE. After you read it, please, be sure to practice what you learn before you put what you learn into practice (this definitely through you off, any literate person who reads your comment and mine knows it). Moreover, do not share your thoughts with the rest of the literate world after you learn how to write. Please wait until you develop at least a minimum amount of intelligence, you have a LONG way to go.

If its fake you cant judge the person for which the faked image protrays. Even if it was her in the pic doesnt mean anything other than someone having some fun in their personal existance. Are you so anal rentintive that no one should ever have a little fun?

Yvonne obviously thought Sarah Palin took a picture like that playing around. At least that’s what I gathered from her comment. I needed the laugh though :).

Go Sarah = call it as you see it - we need a little more honesty, emotional cognition, guts and a fresh view. Learn the issues and the briefs they give you - then think on your own. Don’t memorize their lines - it will demean your openess.
