The commercial featured a clip of Katie Couric taken out of context from some comments she made in June criticizing some of the media’s coverage of the Hillary Clinton campaign. A CBS News spokesperson told Mediabistro blog TVNewser, “CBS News does not endorse any candidate in the presidential race. Any use of CBS personnel in political advertising that suggests the contrary is misleading.”
