We were watching the Republican National Convention to capture the best moments of the Sarah Palin speech for you when this lovely item from a tipster fell in our inbox. There are a lot of doctored photos of Sarah in compromising situations floating around the web but this one does look real. Does make you thirsty for a Bud Light.

THAT HAIRDO. Surely she cannot wear her hair like that in every photo. Also, the skin tone of her face doesn’t match the skin tone of her body. Even if it weren’t a fake, though, what’s the big deal? Why can’t she pose in a patriotic bikini while holding a gun? That’s perfectly American. Besides, I’m tired of this bullshit against her. Hate her for her politics, not because she’s awesome.

Assuming this is a legitimate photo, the so-called “rifle” shown would not qualify as a firearm and can barely be called a rifle. The air gun she’s holding is a Crosman Model 781 BB gun.
For you movie aficionados, the lethality of her BB gun would compare to the famed Red Ryder BB gun from the popular Christmas movie “A Christmas Story”.
I’m sure at some point it will be called an assault weapon. Look for the headline in any national newspaper soon…
