Sarah Palin’s Interview With Charles Gibson Is Scarier Than Hurricane Ike

We don’t even need to comment on this excruciating ABC News clip from last night’s Charles Gibson interview with Sarah Palin, but it’s our job, so we will: Sarah Palin doesn’t know what the Bush doctrine is. She hesitates so much when “Churly” asks her about it that we actually cringe for her. Gibson explains to her, after audibly sighing and shuffling his feet, that the Bush doctrine states that America has the right to anticipatory self-defense. And that’s just the first 58 seconds!
Palin then runs around the question of whether or not America has the right to make cross-border attacks into Pakistan from Afghanistan with or without Pakistan’s approval, stating America has to have all options to stop the terrorists who are “hellbent” on destroying America. She also says NEW-Q-LR and is mindnumbingly unprepared to be a heartbeat away from the presidency. Dear eight pound, six ounce, newborn infant Jesus, save us! I’m just hopeful that after her experiences with Gibson, the McCain campaign won’t be too scared to let her do even more news appearances. This woman needs to do A LOT of unscripted speaking to get the proper point across - that she’s an idiot that shouldn’t be second in line to run this country.
