Yum! Ow! Presenting “Voodoo Doughnut’s” Maple Bacon Donut

We’re always a sucker for dishes that amount to “some kind of food with some other kind of food stuck on top of it,” which explains why our heart is singing and our bowels are cringing for this “Bacon Maple Donut” out of Portland. This holy grail of breakfast foods is the invention of “Voodoo Doughnut” (”The magic is in the hole.”) Which is apt, because eating this will probably result in feeling like your tripas have been pricked with pins. The concept is so simple, you’ve probably come up with it yourself while completely stoned out of your mind, watching “Space Ghost” in your underwear:
Take a donut. Slather it in maple glaze. And stick some bacon onto it. Then call in sick to work.
“Voodoo Doughnut” has some other pretty amazing-sounding donuts as well. For instance? The Cock-n-Balls. You’re already drooling and you don’t even know what it is.

Haha that is way gross. It’s like 1..2..3 (counting) 6 slices of bacon away from being a breakfast baconator.

i have eaten this donut before. Was totally obsessed w/ them when i lived in Portland. It’s delicious!
I live in Oregon, and we have had these on a few occasions (my arteries couldn’t handle more than like 3 a year) and they are amazing. You might be put off by the idea of bacon on top of a maple bar, but it compliments very well.
And if any of you Guanabee bloggers wanna come chill at my pad, we can get stoned and watch Space Ghost in our underpants together! =)
