The first obvious Oscar-baiting film this year, Beverly Hills Chihuahua, is currently the number one movie in America, making $29,000,000. That is one dollar for every time a Guanabee editor has wanted to kick a chihuahua in the face since first learning of the existence of this movie. For those of you who currently wear a helmet while coloring pictures of baby ducks, the movie is about chihuahuas. In Beverly Hills. It’s gotten rave reviews from this one guy, despite being about a boy Mexican dog who falls for a mentally ill Anglo chihuahua. Which, hi, is the world really ready for another Crazy / Beautiful?

A glimpse at what the apocalypse might look like, after the jump:

Not that I really cared for small yippy dogs to begin with. This doesn’t help the case.
