So yesterday our dad sent us a chain email about how it was a “dying girl’s last wish” for us to send six people we knew a poem she’d written about weeping kittens. Which seemed a little presumptuous on this hypothetical girl’s part, especially given her rhyme scheme was totally off. So, because we love our dad and hate chain mails, we sent him a cupcake from “Cupcakes for a Cause” after immediately deleting his email.

Check it out:

From October 20 to the 26th, various bakeries across the country are participating in “Cupcake Week,” donating a portion of their cupcake sales to CancerCare for Kids, a program which provides free support to children and families affected by cancer. The event’s site also features “e-Cupcakes,” a feature that allows you to decorate and send a virtual cupcake to anyone who has been sending you chain mails lately.

For more information on where to find a participating cupcake in your area, or to create your own e-Cupcake, just click here.
