A 43-year-old Japanese woman was arrested for hacking her husband to death… on the COMPUTERZ LOL! God. This article had the headline “Online divorcee jailed after killing virtual hubby.” So, here you are, thinking, “Gasp! She either killed her online husband or virtually killed her husband! And was arrested for it! How creepy or silly, depending on which of those happened!” But no. She was actually arrested for hacking into her husband’s computer to kill off his avatar. Which is boring. But then there wouldn’t be a story, would there?
The woman, who is jailed on suspicion of illegally accessing a computer and manipulating electronic data, used his identification and password to log onto popular interactive game “Maple Story” to carry out the virtual murder in mid-May, a police official in northern Sapporo said on condition of anonymity, citing department policy.
“I was suddenly divorced, without a word of warning. That made me so angry,” the official quoted her as telling investigators and admitting the allegations.
The woman had not plotted any revenge in the real world, the official said.
There is no such things as journalism. Also, the source article managed to spell Sapporo with three P’s. Sigh. Our own virtual husband, Lenny, is 43 and lives in Arkansas. His username is “Hot8Inches4U” and his password is “micropenis.”

“Hacked.” Lol.
