Junot Diaz, gentleman and scholar, will be reading from his Pullitzer-prize reading novel La breve y maravillosa vida de Óscar Wao — in Espanich! — at the Americas Society in Manhattan. It just so happens to be Cindy’s favorite book. Nay! Tome.
Come, bask in his rapier vision of life as a chubby Dominican boy obsessed with science fiction and ladies! Be charmed by the warm glow emanating from his naked scalp! But don’t you dare try and fucking touch him, or you’ll turn into a packet of Yuquitas forgotten on a dusty bodega shelf.
All the brief and wondrous details, after the jump:

The dude sure does get around. No wonder it takes eleven years to write one book, ahem, excuse me, put together words and sentences in a nervous awkward fashion. He’s like the special needs child of literature—the literary community treats him with kid gloves, they clap when he walks and smile proudly when he could mumble a coherent sentence and are absolutely astonished when he manages to publish in magazines. And he’s a professor!
Now who says you shouldn’t go full retard?

Lco Machine your hate is showing. Maybe you should write something of your own, ahem, excuse me, I almost forget it’s easier to hate on real writer than to put your lingo on paper My mistake. And Im sure Diaz is famous cuz the literary community treats him with kid gloves. Riiiiiggght. Hey, whatever lets you get to bed at night. Make sure you tUck yourself in tight too, Loco. You in for a long long sleep.
PS If Diaz is special needs what are you Loco? Sarah Palin’s son?
