Jessica Alba Sells Suffrage, Self: Part III, The Hannibal Lecter Series, Continued

Jessica Alba is a giver. Not only does she give us cinematic gems like Good Luck Chuck and The Guru, she also deigns to condescendingly and sarcastically guilt you into voting as part of a confusing campaign equating not voting with self-mutilation.

After being covered in tape and then muzzled, both while looking like she just realized she was in The Eye, she’s now donned her favorite pair of BDSM-influenced gloves to slap Hayden Panettiere around and muzzle her up! Jessica’s impression of a Home Shopping Network-esque salesperson is so funny, we laughed until we stopped.

Now, here’s our question:

We understand reminding interested people to vote or to register to vote (perhaps with a fun contest?), but why we never really grasped the idea behind getting people who were not at all interested in the political process (or people who are “silencing themselves”) to vote. Isn’t kind of people for everyone involved if people who are undecided refrain from voting?
