Halloween is coming up! Which means, of course, that it’s time to dress up a baby like something-that-isn’t-a-baby. Martha Stewart shared some delightful tips and ideas on how to dress up your sedated child like a pie. Or a turkey. Or a salad. So they’re immobile and easy to CUT INTO WITH A TINY KNIFE. Run away, Apple Pie Baby!

We’re not entirely sure what’s going on with these costumes. Are you just meant to display your baby flat on a table for people to poke as they walk by? And where is the recipe for a baby Vaca Frita? Is it a way of enticing us to want to borrow a baby and dress it up like a delicious baked good? Because we’ll do it.
