Paraguayan Olympic javelin thrower Leryn Franco also happens to be a seasoned pageant contestant — she was a runner-up for both “Miss Paraguay” and “Miss Bikini Universe” — as well as a model. It’s a good way of getting paid to walk around with your boobs out, she explains:

“Modeling is a way for me to continue with my sport,” Franco said. “The hours are flexible, and you can earn good money through photographic modeling and the catwalk.”

Not that she’s exactly having a tough time at her sport. Her personal best throw is 55.38 meters, which is more than we’re able to run without getting totally winded and looking for a Snickers bar.
