News Anchor Lori Delgado Resigns After Alleged Harassment From Former Anchor Vince DeMentri

NBC10 news anchor Lori Delgado recently resigned from her Philadelphia job after several instances of harassment by her former co-worker, anchor Vince DeMentri. Weird! Who doesn’t appreciate a crazed stalker?:
NBC had been investigating alleged incidents at the station. In one, Delgado’s personal property (a hair dryer, curling iron and handbag) was moved from her desk drawer to another spot under her desk. In another, a deep scratch was found on her Lexus, parked in the NBC10 lot in Bala Cynwyd. DeMentri, 44, had been questioned by NBC management. He was fired in August.
On Sept. 16, NBC10, Delgado and an NBC security official identified as Don were named in a praecipe filed by DeMentri attorney Paul Rosen in Philadelphia Common Pleas Court — basically, a precursor to a lawsuit. The praecipe simply listed “libel, slander and misrepresentation” under the cause. No allegations were listed.
The station’s news director sent out a memo to employees stating Delgado left to “spend more time with her family.” Mmm hmm. Do you think people around the office refer to him as “DeMental” around the water cooler? And then would get all quiet when he walked by? They totally did, right?

I don’t know about you guys…but the name “Vince DeMentri” does something to me in my lower region…..and I like it.
Lori Delgado made the morning news. Firing Vince was the right thing to do. Letting Lori go WAS NOT. Although Terri and Aditi are fine, it is not the same without Lori and there is definetely a problem when someone so valuable is allowed to leave; management should have known what Lori brings to the table more so than Vince. But, if he was fired, why was he on the Vote commercials?
