Oprah’s Newest Fad Diet Asks: Are You A Hunter, A Nomad, Or Just Kind Of Hungry?

Apparently, Oprah Winfrey’s latest diet plan includes forming a menu based on an individual’s genetic makeup under the premise that certain types of foods cause certain people to gain weight. The plan is highlighted in Dr. Peter D’Adamo’s book, The GenoType Diet. We’ve personally found that we tend to gain weight when we consume more calories than we burn, but maybe we just have some sort of rare disorder or quirky genes. According to Dr. D’Adamo:
‘We all fall into six basic gene types but you don’t need a blood test to determine which one you are.
‘Physical characteristics, such as body shape and health problems are more telling.
‘Each GenoType has its own problems regarding weight and metabolism, which is why they need their own diet.’
There’s even a helpful chart to aid you in your journey to create disordered eating with a focus on numbers, food types and bunk science instead of a balanced diet and exercise routine:

Nevermind. We’ll stick to our plan of eating black and white cookies and entire bags of Utz chips and then complaining about not being able to lose weight when we’re older.
