More magical realism from the motherland! Eleven Peruvian Shaman in Lima gathered to cleanse the U.S. presidential candidates of evil spirits yesterday. The spiritual leaders say they have seen that the election is unfair and want Americans to be able to vote for the right leader. Us, too. Shake away, shay-man. Nine of them hope America elects Barack Obama for fear of another world economic crisis. “I’ve seen that he has the spiritual support of Martin Luther King and John F. Kennedy to protect him,” said president of the Apus-Inka healers association, Juan Osco. Two of the eleven were pro-McCain.
