A while back, we did a post on a T-shirt company called “Liberation Ink,” which received hundred upon thousands of comments and was super popular. “We love this! Thank you for bringing this to our attention!” you all cried adoringly. Well, it turns out one of our, Jo, readers didn’t have such a positive experience with the company:
Hey Guanabee staff,
Hi!
You did a post about Liberation Ink a month or so ago, which I read and then went to their website. I ended up ordering a t-shirt on September 10th. Although the money was withdrawn from my account on the 11th, I still haven’t received my t-shirt, and the phone number on the Liberation Ink website isn’t working. I sent them an email too, but no reply. I’m going to call paypal and see if I can get my $25 back. Just thought that you’d want to know about it.
Thanks!
Jo
Well, Jo, we did a little investigating on your behalf (aka, we went to the website). It seems their orders take a while to ship; orders placed now, for example, won’t be delivered until after the New Year. Which is like, what? Decades away? Something!
We sent the folks at Liberation Ink an email and’ll make sure to keep checking for you and keep you posted on whether they respond. Don’t say we never showed how much we ♥ you. Also? When the much-anticipated Guanagear* line debuts at Hot Topic, you’ll be the first to get a T-shirt.
*Disclaimer: There is no such line.

Guanagear would be awesome! Who else is going to sell that bejeweled merkin in the shape of Mexico that I’ve wanted for so long?

Hey,
The shipping deadlines on their website are for the holiday 2007 season. It seems they haven’t updated their page in quite some time.

I would totally by a shirt asking “Guanabee my friend”with a Zapata-esque moustache on it!!! Si se puede!
