30 Rock, the only show that’s funny right now, made a Selena Quintanilla reference on its third season premiere. The episode premiered on the internet yesterday, a full week before it will air on television, because NBC knows the kids are more important than the housewives. But what’s most exciting is that it acknowledged common, lowly Tejanos in some small, but always goofy way. It’s not really obvious, but if you love Selena (the real one, not that Disney rip off) like we do, and you’re really desperate for some sort of inclusion in mainstream media, then you caught the piece of music trivia they threw in there when crazy Jenna Maroney tells Liz Lemon that her stalker, Yolanda, sends her headless dolls. Hello? Who else had a psychofan named Yolanda? The clip and the ENTIRE EPISODE are after the jump.
