A few “Ugly Betty” castmembers — America Ferrera, Tony Plana and Ana Ortiz — appear together in a PSA urging people (particularly Latinos) to vote “No” on Proposition 8. In a spin on recent attacks on gay marriage, they urge voters to think about how Prop 8 affects families negatively. They also address arguments that Prop 8 somehow affects religion and schools and makes children exploding homosexual robots. (They insist Prop 8 has nothing to do with religion or education, and that this whole gay robot thing will not happen.)

Eduardo Verástegui is totally shitting himself. In front of a very rich German businessman wearing a bunny suit:

So, its ok for “famous people” to tell us how to vote when the Eds at Guanabee agree on the subject. So Daddy Yankee and Fat Joe get guanaculed but the cast of Ugly Betty is sacred??WTF??

i think its different to say “vote for this candidate because he looks nice” and “vote for this because, actually, the message being put out by the other side is kind of a huge lie.”

saying i should vote for barack obama or john mccain because either of them looks down or cares about latinos (um, give me something concrete if you’re going to preach to me!) is dumb. saying that gay marriage teaches children in school how to be gay is just a lie and a scare tactic.

I agree with LaLa. Their argument to vote against Prop.8 is more thought out than the line the pro Prop. 8 has been saying which is: If prop 8 passes public schools will teach gay marriage.
