Video: Is La Coacha Funny Enough To Overcome Perez Hilton?

The interblogs got a press release this week announcing that La Coacha, a Perez Hilton discovery who launched her Latin gossip blog Chismetime in April, is a big star now. In addition to helping her appear on various MTV networks, Perez has now performed a cameo in her new “comedy” video, a parody of Madonna’s “Hollywood,” returning the favor for her appearance on his “sex” tape. (Thanks a lot, Coach.) La Coacha’s writing is far wittier than Perez’s, (No pee pee caca drawings there!), but we’re reserving judgment until further inspection. Though she does have squawking gayboy fans like these who are fine on the odd weekend, but never good to carry out in public. The video for “Hollywood” is after the jump. Let us know what you think.

What’s especially funny is what passes for funny these days. She is kinda hot, which should help her out some, but she is also kind of annoying (I hate when funnypeople make cutesy, googly eyes). As satire, or a celebrity-rip, it doesn’t come close to Andy Samberg’s recent “Mark Wahlberg Talks to Animals, ” a surreal and surprisingly funny piece of perfect length–the best SNL has produced in some time.
Oh guanabee, her site is lame and ridiculous using the word “weed” instead of “with” is funny once not everytime.. I can’t watch the video so I don’t know how lame and ridiculous that was.
She is soooo funny! And she has a HUGE FAN BASE! Have you not seen her Gaywalking videos??? La Coacha you are sooo hot and funny! I love you! Chisme Time is going to be huge next year. Can’t wait!
And I love Perez. Don’t talk shit! He’s the reason all you losers like Urban Latino make money biting his idea!
Some people just don’t get her, but I think she’s hilarious! have you seen her in public shooting the videos? There’s nothing funnier out there. Haters BE GONE!
