There is a huge difference between predator and prey animals. For me, the emotional argument of pet vs. food is irrelevant. Cats are predators, and should not be eaten. That is just my personal philosophy/opinion. Unless my life depended upon it — in which case self preservation would kick in — I just can’t see myself eating a fellow predator. Plus, cats are just the coolest creatures on earth, with qualities to admire, if not emulate. Why would anyone want to destroy that unless they are simple of mind?

As for the superstitious cat eaters in the video: They are born, live and will die on dirt floors. HA-HA! Cats win!!!

FINALLY a good use for cats! Cats, (pet and feral) freely roam our neighborhood and are at unbelievable numbers. these roaming cats piss and poop in everyone’s yard, in cars, spread disease and kill birds-some species of birds have been recently extinct due to the ‘common household cat’. this az/mexicoborder town’s local people frenquently eat ‘gato tacos’, so is peta discriminating against a culture? peta should focus on educating cat lovers to spay/neuter cats to prevent mass breeding.

PETA needs to get a new life. Peope eat differant animals in differant parts of the world. SHOCK for ya……..Dogs are eaten all over the world, encluding right here in the good ole US of A. Some American Native people have been doing it long before the white world ruined things.
Go to India and try to get a Hamburger.
Get over it people, if you don’t want to eat cat, Don’t. If yopun don’t want to eat Alligator, Goat, Bear, Moose, Deer, Elk, Buffalo, Prong Horn, Rabbit, Posume, Snake, Fish or even bran nuts. It’s your choice. The creator put them here. We just use what he gives us.
