Wear Pink Hair Extensions, Help Celebrate Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

A hair salon in Lynchburg, Virginia has found an inventive way to promote awareness for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. And it doesn’t even involve celebrities posing in tastefully nude photos for fashion magazines while speaking out about how they’ve personally struggled with never having had breast cancer! For a $10.00 donation to the National Breast Cancer Foundation, stylists at the Anthony & Company Salon will give you pink hair extensions:
Meghan Irby, Anthony & Company Salon - “Now we are getting some more attention on it. Which is wonderful. We are so excited about it and we are excited about how much it has blown up so far.”
Lots of other salons across the country are also doing something similar this month and we think it’s actually a pretty cute way of raising money for breast cancer research without having to consume approximately 18 gallons of yogurt. If we could somehow get “Yessenia’s Casa De Los Extensions: Plus Waxing Y Also Manikures” around the corner to join in, we’d be wearing pink extensions this month, too.
