Whoa Nelly: Nelly Furtado Secretly Married Cuban Sound Engineer Demacio "Demo" Castellon
In an interview with “ET Canada,” (it’s just like our version of “Entertainment Tonight” but with 100% more footage of Pamela Anderson, Jim Carrey and Avril Lavigne wrestling in a pit of poutine), singer Nelly Furtado reveals she married sound engineer Demacio “Demo” Castellon, whom she worked with on her 2006 album Loose. (You know. The one where she stopped being all like a bird and shit and started booty-dancing all up on Timbaland.)
The two wed this past July 19th. Says Nelly:
“It’s a nice phase of my life.”
Cool. We’d kind of forgotten you existed, Nels. So thanks for this. Congrats to you and your Chris Noth-lookin’ boy.
