Fotie Photenhauer, the author of the positively nutty, slightly acidic new cookbook, Natural Harvest - A Collection of Semen-Based Recipes gave us a shout-out on the book’s website! You might recall that we featured two of the book’s recipes recently, being the adventurous eaters that we are. Here’s what their site has to say:

The response to Natural Harvest has been phenomenal, to say the least. Not only did our Lulu page get more than 250,000 visitors within the first week, but the internet was set ablaze with discussions about cooking with semen!

Here are just a few of the prestigious websites and media outlets that are talking about Natural Harvest and Cooking with Cum:

Cosmo Magazine

Chicago Reader

Penny Arcade

Guanabee

Geekologie

Finally, someone calls us prestigious! We’re so honored and excited. Seriously, any list that snuggles us up right next to Penny Arcade is alright by us. It’s heartwarming how ball butter has the power to bring people together.

You’ll also be happy to know there is a second, “more refined” edition of the cookbook set to come out soon. And, because the fact Christmas comes but once a year doesn’t mean you have to, it makes the perfect holiday stocking stuffer. Other than semen.

Attention all semen enthusiasts! [Cooking with Cum]

    Really, guys, you totally wholeheartedly deserve it. I mean, being mentioned, on a website, concerning a book of recipes where you can whip up (or should I say, jerk out) delicious concoctions, really shows how far you guys have come along! Congratulations! I am so proud of you! As a matter of fact, I’m going to go shoot a load into mama’s turkey before she shoves it into the oven, as an homage to you! And I might piss in the pot of gandules for good measure. And perhaps, if I feel up to it (or if I decide to drink a gallon of coquito beforehand), I’ll play musical farts all over the pumpkin pie. God bless Guanabee! And God Bless Semen! Three Cheers for the United States of Stupidity!

    Hey guys. I never realized that anyone would consider it an honor to be mentioned on my little corner of the web, but I’m glad that it made you so happy. I bookmarked Guanabee when I ‘came’ across it last week and I’m glad I revisited to find this post.

    In your honor, I’m dedicating the following recipe to you. I’ll post a copy of it on my Lulu blog as well, so that many more can enjoy a little taste of Guanabee. :)

    Guanabee Horchata

    * 6 cups water
    * 1 cup uncooked white rice
    * 1/3 cup almond meal (ground almonds will work too)
    * 1 whole cinnamon stick
    * one serving of semen (~ 1 tablespoon)
    * 3/4 teaspoon vanilla
    * 1/2 cup white sugar

    Using a coffee grinder (or a blender), grind the rice into a fine powder. Mix the rice, almond meal and cinnamon stick with two cups of water. Cover tightly and let it set for at least 4 hours.

    Remove the cinnamon stick and blend the rice/almond mixture in a blender until the mixture is smooth. Add 2 more cups of water and continue blending the mixture for 30 seconds. Pour the mixture through a coffee filter to remove all the sediment. You may need to use several filters.

    Stir the sugar, vanilla, and semen into 2 cups of water until the sugar dissolves and the semen isn’t clumpy. Cover and refrigerate.

    Serve cold and enjoy!

    - Fotie

    P.S. Let me know if you have any suggestions for improving this recipe.

    Should I eat only vegetables and fruits for a week before I harvest my “seed” so it tastes better for my mija’s?
