Two Election Posters We Love: Obama Changes Race For Halloween

Election day is less than 24 hours away and this Halloween weekend, we ran into two different election posters that seek to get your vote by dressing the candidates up in a different skin color. The first, sent to us by a reader and designed by Tor Myhren who is Chief Creative Officer for Grey Advertising in New York, asks you to imagine what the issues would be if Obama were white and John McCain were black. The second, which we found posted on Houston street in Manhattan last night, imagines Obama as a cholo and offers him as the best candidate for “El Presidenté” (with an inappropriate accent mark. Whoops.) We did a little googling and found out it was designed by a hair stylist named David Cordova in Los Angeles. He said in an interview that his motivation was getting hispanics to vote for Obama. Both are traffic stopping to be sure. Funny, but Obama’s almost that white and almost that brown anyway. He just fits in anywhere. That’s why he’s the perfect man to represent this great country. Except for James. He’s an arsehole.

hay! thanks for posting the obama cholo ! its been fun bringing out the little cholo in all of us … the poster was ship all over. maybe about 38,ooo all over the west and south west ,miami etc..and with a little help from friends and my graphics guy hidalgo, its been growing to help bring out the VOTE!!!!for obama… thanks again

The state I would like to live in is the one with the greatest number of self employed entrepreneurs and least number of scum sucking, low- life ignorant bottom feeders. I want to live in a state where no one takes food stamps, collects unemployment or lives in subsidized apartments. The best state has no welfare programs, no entitlements and those who don’t or won’t work are tossed out. In my state there are no HS dropouts, no drugs, no dead-beats, no sub-primes and NOBAMA………….. Anyone know where that might be? Likely, not in America…

Easy, there are 50 million receiving government handouts, 18 million federal employees and 14 million state and local workers- not one of these parasitical drones earns one cent of taxable profit. There are 140 million employed Americans. Eighty million are living 100% off those who are actually gainfully employed. Taxing those who are paid from tax receipts is financial sophistry. America is over burdened with entitlements and the little idiot is pushing national health.. is he completely nuts? His programs will bankrupt the country. No one with any money will stick around- every day hundreds are shipping out, taking their guns and money and telling nobama to “keep the change!”
